Restylane Refyne & Defyne
Restylane® was the first dermal filler in the U.S., approved back in 2006. Since then, Restylane®, along with Juvederm®, have been the world’s most popular dermal fillers. Over the years, both product lines have expanded to specifically target areas such as the lips with Restylane® Silk or Juvederm® Volbella®.
The full Restylane® line now includes five fillers: Restylane®, Restylane® Silk, Restylane® Lyft, Restylane® Refyne™, and Restylane® Defyne™. Here at Laser & Mohs Dermatology of New York, we offer the full family of Restylane dermal fillers for our Manhattan area patients.

Why Choose Restylane Refyne and Restylane Defyne?
There are definitely other options for addressing nasolabial folds and marionette lines, but Refyne™ and Defyne™ are different. XpressHAn Technology™ is a cross-linking in the gel of both Restylane® Refyne™ and Defyne™ to help support the patient’s natural expressions — for real-life results that help maintain natural movement when smiling, frowning, or otherwise moving your mouth.
What does this mean? If you’re reading this page, you know about dermal fillers. In some cases, injection into the nasolabial folds and other areas around the mouth can create an unnatural inability of the facial skin to move with certain facial expressions. Galderma says its technology now allows Refyne™ and Defyne™ to fill the creases, all the while letting your skin move naturally when you make expressions.
