What is XTRAC?

XTRAC

XTRAC light treatment is the only FDA-cleared laser that is clinically proven to slow and reverse the growth of psoriatic cells. With XTRAC psoriasis treatment, patients achieve more than 95% clearance in just over 10 treatments. It only takes approximately 6 treatments to see 75% clearance.

XTRAC has proven to be effective in treating thick and scaled plaques on both the kneed and elbows. These areas are often resistant to conventional treatments. XTRAC can also treat psoriasis on the scalp, common in about 80% of psoriasis patients.

Who Is A Good Candidate For XTRAC Therapy?

Candidates for XTRAC include almost all patients with plaque psoriasis. If you have mild, moderate, or even severe psoriasis, you should consider XTRAC therapy for treatment.

XTRAC laser treatment can be used on any plaque psoriasis on the body. This treatment is excellent for areas that are difficult to treat including the scalp, knees, and elbows.

Psoriasis Treatment Results

Patients typically see improvements in their psoriasis within 3 or 4 treatments. Significant improvement is noticeable in 6 to 10 treatments. Clearance of psoriasis usually takes between 10 and 20 treatment. Results vary with each individual.


Is The XTRAC Treatment Safe?

XTRAC treatment have been used on children as young as just a few years old. The treatment is also safe for pregnant or nursing women.

Side Effects Of The Psoriasis Treatment

XTRAC has much fewer risks than those associated with most psoriasis treatments. Some patients may experience a reaction similar to sunburn or blistering on the treated areas. In some cases increase in pigmentation may occur.
